So there goes all hope.

Just got back from an appreciation lunch & prize giving function at the Taurus ballroom in Marina Mandarin... I'm as full as hell, but actually we didn't have our food there. I was there to WORK, to help with checking attendance & to distribute plaques to sponsors & outstanding volunteers.

So we went to Swensens Marina to have dinner cos we were all so starved, Dionne, Nat, Stanli, Chi Hua, Rubin, Shawn, Kai Long, Christina, Cindy & me. No pics lah... so hungry, no time to take pictures except for a formal pic at da ballroom!

Finally, I get to eat what I had been craving for since I last had it at Pizza Hut... baked chicken curry rice! But at PH they call it Curry Zazzle. We had a combination of platter, extra fries & a dessert. I thought since it was already 4plus we'd be going home, but we had to go back to office in 3 cabs... so *yawn* here I am relaxing like a snake who's just had its full human meal... yet something is at da back of ma mind at da same time.

There goes all hope. I wanted to go home early cos ma kid's being taken care
of at ma mum's place cos she has been having fever on & off for about a week, just like what I went through 2 weeks ago. By any chance did I spread it to ma cabbage patch? And I'm afraid by da time I rush back there, her dad would have taken her back to his home... no chance to see her & kiss her goodbye. Hope she's not going back to school tomorrow if she's still sick.

Please don't let mummy feel worried & do get well soon lil' darling. Mummy loves u.

And B, sorry I can't meet you after work today ok? Still got a train of thoughts running through ma mind and I hope that I can get to mum's house on time to see how she is today. I love you too.
