It Still Exists No Matter How U Turn A Blind Eye.

Aye peeps... miss updating here. Hope ur life ain't as boring as mine rite now, haha. But of course, it's getting wayy better *wink wink*.

I'm reading this backdated news about a somewhat middle-aged man who's just recovered from cancer & has been going for interviews & rejected 20 times already... I find it sad. He's certified medically fit by doctors to find a job, but why do companies turn him down..?

Hmm....

No matter what da government say about people having equal opportunities & all da hype, I can't deny, that discrimination still exists.

Be it racial discrimination, or people who discriminate ex-convicts or people with previous illnesses. Why do people turn a blind eye to it? As far as finding jobs re concerned, I won't elaborate more on what I meant by that (I don't wanna be sued mmkay? LOL) but most people should know what I'm talking about. Everyone deserves a chance. Everyone needs to put at least 3 square meals on their tables everyday. But all these is sometimes made difficult by just one word alone. Yes, again, DISCRIMINATION. How long can people live on financial aid? And if they DO try to apply for aid, why is it that da Means Test have to be so hard? Means Test is an assessment of whether they can qualify for da financial aid by asking people to declare their monthly salary... backed with payslips, of course. And also to reveal what sort of house they live in & all that. Sounds simple enuff, but actually its not :(. I have a divorcee friend who lives in a small house & needs help with her child's monthly expenses. But it takes ages for her application to be approved.

Bah. I think I have ranted enuff. Will get all flustered & angry if I go on & on. Haiz...

To those who are still looking for jobs... I wish them well & successful.
