What Do I Do Now...?

Woke up TERRIBLY late for work yesterday, lol. I was told to be at work by 9am intead of 11 cos there would be a kitchen tour by some kids from dunno where, lol. Office & even ma sis called me up & I was still snoring away like a pig at 10.20am. Eventually da swine woke up. Luckily ma duty manager is a very understanding person. He knew that I was doing closing da night before, so I sure was effing shagged. Anyway this is ma very first time waking up late since I worked for PH.

Well here's news for u. Good and bad news.

I've been offered a job in one of da fast-food restaurants as floor manager. Yes, no kidding. I went for da interview like 3 weeks ago & only received a call from them when I was at work today. I'd like to go for it, but thing is... (here's where da bad news comes in); I'd have to work mostly da afternoon to closing shift :(. Oh dear... what do I do now? Cabbage patch is mostly in daycare during da day, but during da evenings usually it's me who will be taking care of her. We don't have a babysitter. And next Monday I'm expected to turn up for training. How do I get an evening babysitter at such a short notice? And of cos, I need to get her familiarised with her new caregiver first, right? Argh! I'm really at ma wit's end.

Diana & Farikha (our colleague) told me to go for it. Ma 'kitchen buddy' is sad to see me go though *grin*... Actually I'm also quite hesitant to leave ma peeps at PH behind, lol. Maybe I'll just give it a shot at da training. Who knows what will happen. But I won't erase ma name off PH yet. If I da new job doesn't suit me I can always go back. Even ma sis did that. AND, if I really have to work mostly in the evenings, I'll give it a pass. Hopefully other opportunities will come. I will be quitting ma tutor job soon, so working for PH alone will not be enuff for me financial-wise.

So don't worry mmkay... ma 'kitchen buddy'.... :). We're gonna still be partners in crime for now. 'Stealing' food together when we're hungry, that is. Haha... everyone in PH is guilty of that!

Gotta catch some shleep now. Don't want ma morning to end up like yesterday's ;p.

PS: I'm tired of switching jobs. When will ma big break finally come?
